CITIZENS for ELECTION REFORM was formed in Hartford in 2004 to fight for a voluntary system of public funding of campaigns for statewide office in Connecticut. Since the successful enactment of Connecticut’s Citizen Election Program in 2005 we have turned our attention to helping citizens in all states who are working to achieve similar benefits.
